Celebration of the Goddess in me.
She is beautiful, passionate and enjoys life to the fullest. It is precisely in this spirit that our journey to the island full of sun and ancient history will take place; the island where, according to Greek myths, the name for our continent was created when the God Zeus fell in love with the Goddess of Europe and kidnapped her from her land, Phoenicia, transformed into a bull to the island of Crete. There he turned into God again, Europe bore him three sons, and one of them was King Minos, after whom the ancient Minoan civilization, which was based in Crete around 3000-1500 BC, is named. According to some, this civilization is associated with the mythical Atlantis - a developed world where prosperity, peace reigned and where women had a high position in society and were shown respect.
Our villa
We will live and relax in a beautiful, luxurious villa with views of all directions. Our villa is located near the traditional Greek village of Archanes, which is under the protection of UNESCO and lies at the foot of the sacred mountain Juktas. In the past, this place was an important seat of Minoan culture and the summer palace of King Minoan was located here. This palace still lies directly below the built-up village of Archanes. The villa is only 20 km away from the airport in the city of Heraklion, where we will arrive. For your greater comfort, we will live in double rooms, each of which has a separate bathroom and toilet.
Our way of learning
On this journey, we will go to places where legends, myths, fables and symbols come alive in our ancient memory. We will visit the famous Minoan Palace, which hides the secrets of the labyrinth, the story of Ariadne, Theseus and the Minotaur; stories of priestesses and ancient rituals, connected mainly with the sacred symbols of the bull, dolphins, medusa, snakes and many others. These symbols will accompany us not only in the Minoan Palace, but also in other places of Crete, where the rich Minoan civilization left its traces. We will learn a lot about history in the city of Heraklion, in the archaeological museum, where we will see live the original statues of the ancient Serpent Goddesses - priestesses who worked throughout Crete and are associated with the worship of the Mother Goddess, sacred sexuality and life force.
On our way, we will have enough time and space to feel the connection with places where thousands of years ago, in the bosom of beautiful nature, a civilization was born that respected the sanctity of life and death. A visit to the Skoteino cave, a dark labyrinth through which we will bravely walk, will be one of these places of strength. Another unforgettable place to visit are the tombs of the Ariadne priestesses, whose bodies were found intact in the area of Fourni, near Heraklion.
Have you heard of the Faist disk? This disk is about 3500 years old, it was found in the south of Crete near the city of Matalavo Faisto's palace and there are 241 figures on it. Scientists managed to decipher the meaning of some of them as follows:
IQE - Mother Goddess,
IQEKURJA - pregnant mother goddess,
IQEPAJE - shining mother goddess.
We will also be able to see this symbol of respect for women, motherhood, and Mother Earth live.
Our way of enjoyment
Imagine how you are sitting in a pleasant tavern on your vacation and looking into the distance. The sun is reflected on the turquoise sea. Fishing boats move to the rhythm of the waves. Heavenly peace reigns.
In addition to its rich history, Crete is also an island that invites you to enjoy life, sea, sun, excellent Cretan wine and local specialties. We will swim in the clear waters of the Cretan and Libyan seas and sunbathe on beautiful beaches.
The basis of Cretan cuisine is their liquid gold - olive oil, which is considered one of the best in the world. We will also taste various specialties of the local cuisine. Delicacies are, for example, mizithras hard cottage cheese with honey or yogurt with honey. The honey here is thick and aromatic because most of the apiaries are located in the mountains, where countless fragrant herbs bloom all year round. Other specialties that we will taste are definitely tzaziki, moussaka, stuffed vine leaves dolmades and of course, fish.
We will also enjoy the Greek "sleepy" countryside while getting to know the traditional villages in the interior of Crete.

The deposit for the stay is in the amount of 300€, it is paid when booking the trip, it is non-refundable and secures your seat reservation.
Other important info
Everyone arranges the tickets individually. I will send you more details about the specific flight that we will all fly after your request of interest in the trip. We will fly on the route Vienna/Bratislava - Heraklion.
Boarding: is individual; we usually prepare breakfast at the villa. As for dining in restaurants, in Crete, count on food that is affordable: e.g. kebab/gyros is very tasty and can be bought for about €6, in a local restaurant you will pay max. €12, €25 in more popular tourist spots. Of course, the choice is large and it will depend on you how much you want to prepare food in the villa or eat out. In any case, you will enjoy it gastronomically in Crete :)

1. What if I don't have a roommate?
No problem, we'll pair you with another guest. And you will for sure meet many other inspiring and wonderful women on these trips.
2. Is there free time outside the itinerary?
Each itinerary is different - please read the description carefully. In gerenal, there is always plenty of time for yourself and you can also decide which activities to take part in.
3. What will I be responsible for handling?
You will be responsible for your flight, and any other travel requirements needed. For example, visa costs, medical/travel insurance, etc.
As mentioned in our terms, you will be responsible for travel/medical insurance. We highly recommend purchasing insurance to protect you from flight cancellations, any medical assistance needed while abroad.
4. If I change my mind in attending, do can I get a refund?
